A Life Dedicated to Crafting and Sewing Amazing Decor

I began sewing as a teenager—that’s 50 years of experience! Initially, I was tutored by my aunt/godmother, an accomplished seamstress and sewing instructor. I learned from the best how to construct garments proficiently. I also took a few selected sewing classes, and honed my skills through a lot of practice! Over time, I was able to make countless outfits for myself and my small son.

In more recent years, I have focused on sewing items for the home. My favorite is window coverings—almost every window in my home is decorated with one of my creations. Since I cannot possibly keep everything I make, I started reserving space at area craft fairs, and have sold a lot of items in the past 15 years! Most recently, I have “returned to my roots” and started including accessory items such as vests and decorative neckwear in my display.
